The towering cliffs of Shepherd's Bluff (Pastyrska stena) are one of the outstanding natural features in the town center. Its central location, wooded park, and many observation points make it a popular hiking destination.

Clifftop Restaurant
Shepherd's Bluff is crowned by a romantic building styled as a castle ruin. It was built as a panoramic restaurant in 1905 (Weber and Putz) with an observation patio and a tower. Since its inception, it has been a city-owned restaurant, and is to this day.

Via Ferrata on Shepherd's Bluff
Conquer Shepherd's Bluff. A set of anchored climbing paths traces its way up the cliff face from the riverside to the restaurant at the top. Professional instructors are available to help you on your way.
